 \Residents,

As the coronavirus, COVID-19, increasingly impacts our region, ELEC feels it’s important to share some information about the steps we are taking to help keep the Elizabeth community safe and healthy.  We considered and are monitoring the advice of multiple health organizations including the CDC, WHO, and the Oregon Health Authority.

While all sources report that washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is one of the best ways to protect yourself from getting sick, we have placed a bottle of hand sanitizer at the concierge desk for your convenience.  In the coming days, we will also be installing a permanent hand sanitizer dispenser in each of the trash/recycling rooms and partially filling them with the hand sanitizer we have on hand.  Then, as additional supplies of hand sanitizer become available to us, we will completely fill the dispensers and replenish as needed.

Our common areas are typically cleaned daily.  In the past few weeks, CMI has increased the frequency of cleaning in high-touch areas like the lobby, call boxes, door handles and elevator buttons.

We understand how unsettling this rapidly evolving situation can be for some.  To allow residents who wish to an opportunity to connect with their neighbors during this time, ELEC has decided to hold our annual Mixer, as scheduled.  We invite you to join us on Thursday at 5:30 pm in the Community Room for happy hour.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to ELEC (tajankus@gmail.com) or the Board (board@elizabethlofts.org).

Sincerely,

The Elizabeth Lofts Emergency Committee (ELEC)
